The Hutton Veterinary Clinic Angel Fund was developed in 2013 and became a 501c-3 non-profit organization in 2019 after partnering with the Veterinary Care Foundation.
Our mission is to provide assistance in situations where financial burdens prevent Pet Owners and Good Samaritans from obtaining needed Veterinary Care.
Unlike most charitable organizations, our Angel Fund's operating expenses are provided entirely through membership dues paid by Hutton Veterinary Clinic. This means that 100% of every charitable dollar contributed is used to directly fund the care of animals in our community.
Donations of any size can be made online via the Direct Donation Links below; in person with cash, credit/debit card, or check; or by mailing a check to:
Hutton Veterinary Clinic
2828 E. 31st St. South
Wichita, KS 67216
(Please make checks out to Hutton Veterinary Clinic and include "Angel Fund" in the memo line)
If you wish to donate to the Angel Fund in lieu of giving a gift, please inform us of the recipient and we will notify them by mail with a card of thanks.
Our Angel Fund criteria for use of donated funds are generally restricted (but not limited) to the following:
- Good Samaritan Cases
- Assisting pets whose owners are in financial crisis
- Care for Military Service Animals
- Funding for pets harmed or displaced due to local disasters (such as weather, fire, etc.)
*All Approved Fund Receiptents Will Be Required To Sign A Release Allowing Use Of The Story For Continued Fundraising Purposes*
You can't. Funds are provided when a team member at HVC feels the need exists and the patient is deserving. Team members request the funds on the pet's behalf and serve as a patient care advocate. Pet Owner's must exhaust all other means of payment including applying for both Care Credit and Scratch Pay.
While we do everything in our power to assist, please remember that the availability of funds is based on donations and those funds may be limited.
